"Old" Rad Dad
Unlike most authors, Rad Dad graduated in the very bottom of his high school class; never attended a creative writing course, and is confused by the literary world.

He was born just before the beginning of the Baby Boom Generation, which makes him pretty friggin’ old and somewhat in the way. He experienced the sixties as a sailor in the U.S. Navy and as a civilian. I am told he enjoyed being a civilian much more than being a salty sailor. Go figure. Rad Dad believes in spirituality and loves his country and the heroes that have volunteered for service in the military, but he vigorously opposes the idea of drafting individuals into mandatory service.

Rad Dad enjoys the company of attractive women, but he is happier when they leave and go home. The women who know him feel the same about his visits to their places, and they find it strange that he shows up at their apartments without an invitation and sometimes stays for several days. He claims it’s hard to leave when you can’t find the door.

He loves sports but hates whiny basketball players and wide receivers. He loves theater but hates opera and can’t understand the message of art... He finds people frustrating but constantly seeks out others because (he thinks) they enlighten him.

He lives in a duplex home with his dog Iko. He has one grown son, a beautiful granddaughter and a nasty disposition.

"Young" Rad Dad

A Single Man’s Guide to a Better Life
and Rad Dad's World  began as a father and son project and grew to include a nephew, a niece, and an adopted literary mastermind who gave the team the direction it so badly needed.

We hope you enjoy it.
